Three wrecks in Central Kitsap snarled traffic Tuesday afternoon.

A dump truck on its side and a two-car collision backed up traffic traveling southbound on State Highway 3 just after noon.

No injuries were reported in either incident, said Washington State Patrol Trooper Krista Hedstrom in an e-mail, and the wrecks were unrelated.

The State Patrol is investigating.

At 2:20 p.m. two cars collided in the middle of the intersection of Silverdale Way NW and NW Bucklin Hill Road, blocking traffic, according to Kitsap Sheriff’s office spokesman Scott Wilson.
