North End churches have special services and events planned for Holy Week and Easter this month. Palm Sunday is April 1, Good Friday April 6 and Easter on April 8.

• Bayside Community Church, (360) 297-2000, 25992 Barber Cut Off Road, Kingston. A Good Friday service will be held 5-8 p.m. April 6. Easter Sunday services April 8 will be at 9 a.m. and 10:40 a.m.

• Eglon Community Church, (360) 638-2020, 33690 Eglon Rd N.E. off Hansville Road, Kingston. Easter Sunday services are at the usual times of 11 a.m. and 6 p.m.

• Faith Episcopal Church, (360) 297-4038, 26096 West First St. NE in the VFW Hall, Kingston. There will be an Easter Sunday service at 10 a.m. April 8 with Sunday school, followed by an Easter egg hunt. • The Gathering Church, (360) 297-4702, 28096 Hansville Road, Kingston. The congregation will meet for an Easter breakfast at 9 a.m. April 8 with a celebration of the resurrection afterwards at about 10 a.m.

• Hansville Community Church, (360) 638-2335, 7543 Twin Spits Road, Hansville. Sunrise Service at 7 a.m. Easter Sunday, April 8, takes place at 40516 Skunk Bay Road, Hansville. The regular Sunday service takes place at the church at 9:30 a.m. with the word of the day beginning at 10 a.m., followed by fellowship and an Easter potluck.

• Indianola Living Hope Church, (360) 297-2340, 20789 NE Division, Indianola. Good Friday service at 7 p.m.; Easter Sunday services at the dock, 8:30 a.m. with breakfast afterwards, and 10 a.m. at the church.

• Kingston Christian Church, (360) 297-2551, Highway 104, downtown Kingston. There will be a communion service at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 3. The family film, “The Story of Jesus for Children” will be shown at 7-8 p.m. on Good Friday, April 6 with refreshments. Nursery care and the family viewing room will be available. The event is free. Regular services take place at 8 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. Easter Sunday, April 8.

At 10 a.m. April 1, a Palm Sunday service will be held; at 6 p.m. April 5 a Maunday Thursday service will be held with Faith Episcopal Church at their church; at 7 p.m. April 6, a Good Friday service will be held with Faith Episcopal Church at Redeemer United; Sunrise Service at 7 a.m. Easter Sunday April 8 followed by breakfast and a Celebration Worship Service at 10 a.m.

On Palm Sunday, April 1, children will present the play, “Narnia.” Good Friday community services with other churches will be held at 6:30 p.m. April 6; an Easter egg hunt for children at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 7 at the tribal center; Easter sunrise services take place at 6:35 a.m. in the S’Klallam cemetery off Little Boston Road; a free breakfast follows at 8:15 a.m. in the worship center; Easter celebration service is at 10 a.m.
