BREMERTON — WSU Kitsap County Extension will be offering its Agriculture Entrepreneurship Course on starting and sustaining a profitable small farm or agricultural enterprise Jan. 28.
The course features lectures from regional growers and community members.
Participants will gain skills in business planning, direct marketing and record-keeping. They’ll also receive information on federal and state programs targeted to the needs of small producers.
The course costs $250, and scholarships are available. It will be held Wednesday evenings from 6:30-9 p.m. at the Norm Dicks Government Center in Bremerton
