The long-awaited opening of the new Firehouse Theater in Kingston will officially happen on Friday, May 15, with a 12:01 a.m. showing in the big theater of the PG-13 “Angels and Demons,” adapted from the Dan Brown novel and starring Tom Hanks and Ewan MacGregor.

In the little theater, the R-rated “Sunshine Cleaning,” featuring Amy Adams, Emily Blunt and Alan Arkin, will also open on May 15.
