PORTLAND, Ore. — The U.S. Forest Service is planning to fill more than 1,000 temporary spring and summer positions in Washington and Oregon.
The government agency is accepting applications online through Nov. 21. Positions are available in multiple fields, including fire, recreation, natural resources, timber, engineering, visitor services and archaeology.
Applications must be submitted through www.usajobs.gov. Interested applicants are encouraged to create a profile on USAJOBS in advance to save time once the hiring process begins.
