HONOR ROLL

ELLENSBURG — Kayce Wright and Nathan Chollar of Bremerton were recently named to Central Washington University’s summer 2008 honor roll.

BHA RECEIVES GRANT

The Housing Authority of the City of Bremerton (BHA) recently received a $150,000 Neighborhood Networks grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

This grant will be made available over a three-year period to expand the services offered through BHA’s Westpark Community Center Computer Lab. With the addition of the $20 million HOPE VI grant that also was recently awarded, BHA will be able to move the computer lab into new BHA facilities once the Westpark revitalization is complete.
