SUQUAMISH — Georgia Ann Cox of Suquamish died of congestive heart failure March 24. She was 81.
Born April 28, 1931 in Redlands, Calif., to William and Claudia Barlow. Graduated from Redlands High School in 1949. Married George Cox in 1961; they lived in Palm Springs and Santa Barbara, Calif., moved to Bainbridge Island in 1967, moved to Suquamish in 1992. Office manager at Olympic Glass on Bainbridge Island for more than 20 years.
Survived by husband George, Suquamish; children, Shawna (John) Ward, Hansville; David (Leslie), Kristin and Kaylee Cox, Bainbridge Island; and Grant (Frances) and Cashel Cox of Belmont, Calif.
Georgia loved her Georgia family — cousins Joanne Odum, Lonnie and Bertha Barlow, Nola Jean Hardy, Rudy and Ann Lancaster, Linda and James Russell Lee, and many more. A friend to all, mother to many. Will be greatly missed.
