KINGSTON — The Rotary Club of Kingston-North Kitsap invites golfers to the sixth annual Kingston Rotary Golf Classic, June 22 at White Horse Golf Club.
Proceeds from the tournament will benefit community projects, including a covered picnic area for Village Green Park. It will also increase the club’s pledge to the Village Green Foundation for the construction of the new Community Center, and increase club support to local food banks and homeless programs, and to the Kitsap Blood Bank.
The registration fee of $150 includes greens and cart fees, one set of Mulligans per team, range balls, tee-off gifts, lunch, drink tickets, and the awards dinner (additional dinner tickets are $20).
This year, the golfer who gets a hole in one on a designated hole will win a new car. There will be prizes for Closest to the Pin and Longest Drive, as well as a putting contest and awards for the winning teams. The club will auction two tickets to the 2013 Masters and two tickets to the Ryder Cup.
Since 2004, the Kingston Rotary has raised funds to provide lights for the Kingston High School football field, for the upgrade at Kingston Preschool at Kola Kole Park, for Kingston High School student scholarships, for meals for Wolfle Elementary School students, for local food bank food drives, and for food and toiletries for the homeless.
