POULSBO — The Poulsbo Historical Society and the Poulsbo Sons of Norway are joining forces to support Poulsbo’s historical museum and celebrate the city’s codfishing history.
The lodge, 18891 Front St., will host a dinner and auction fundraiser March 30 at 5 p.m. Guests will enjoy a codfish dinner and presentation, “Gone Fishing — Stories of Poulsbo’s Annual Codfishing Derby,” as well as a lively auction.
Dinner tickets are $25 and may be purchased at the Poulsbo Historical Society Museum at City Hall, 200 NE Moe St.; the Sons of Norway Lodge, or from PHS board members.
The mission of the Poulsbo Historical Society is collecting, recording, preserving and exhibiting the history, heritage and culture of Poulsbo and the surrounding communities. The Sons of Norway mission promotes and preserves the heritage and culture of Norway. The two organizations will be celebrating both missions.
