POULSBO — Gov. Jay Inslee participated in the 2016 Viking Tour, a series of 5-, 35- and 65-mile bike rides, May 22.

The event took place during Viking Fest weekend. More than 300 riders participated.

The Poulsbo/North Kitsap Rotary Club, which organizes the event, estimates it raised more than $10,000 which will be used for scholarships, community service projects, support for domestic violence prevention, and other programs.
