Habitat for Humanity of Kitsap County will conduct an information meeting — “Habitat 101” — to generate interest in supporting and volunteering with the organization and encourage people in need of housing to apply for homeownership though the program.

A meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. Aug. 7, at Givens Community and Senior Center, 1026 Sidney Ave., Port Orchard.
