What could be purchased for $25,000 Austin does for a quarter of the cost. “It’s what I do,” he said while demonstrating how he makes the metal light displays.

“I feel it’s my duty to do this. I feel it’s a duty for everyone to give something back to the community.”

This year, he added three more light sets, for a total of eight, to the Front Street displays, as well as red hearts, a traditional Norwegian holiday symbol.

Here is a little about how he does it.
