HANSVILLE — Harlan M. Perkins died March 1. He was 92.
Born on Feb. 5, 1921 to Harry and Catherine Perkins of Seattle. Attended West Queen Anne Grade School, Queen Anne High School, University of Washington.
Married Reba Brace in 1943. Resided on Vashon Island for 20 years, moved to Seattle for several years, retired in Hansville where he was active in the community.
Worked as a contractor, engineer, and a heating and air conditioning estimator. A talented and skillful artist, craftsman, and model maker.
Survived by sister, Marcia Morris; son, Todd Perkins; daughter, Jan Epperson; grandchildren, Tim Wall, LaNette Valentine, Nick Rea, Graham Epperson, Blair Gurick; great-grandchildren, Ashly and Zachary Wall, Drew and Lucie Valentine, Emilie and Ian Rea, Isabel and Chloe Epperson and Addie, Micah and Samuel Gurick.
Gathering in his memory at Driftwood Key Clubhouse on March 8, noon to 2 p.m., Hansville. All are welcome.
