Harrison Bremerton’s emergency department has been given the “all clear” after being placed under additional securityThursday morning.
The device which a woman brought in and claimed to be a bomb has been removed and the woman — now a patient — is currently being evaluated, according to Jacquie Goodwill, director of communications and marketing for Harrison.
Goodwill said all hospital operations have returned to normal.
“We appreciate everyone’s support during this situation,” said Goodwill. “We offer a special thanks to the Harrison security team, as well as the Bremerton Police Department for their effective actions.”
