The Port Orchard Police Department is requesting help to find 37-year-old Garrett Briggs, who was last seen Jan. 29.

Briggs had reportedly told friends he was heading under the Blackjack Creek Bridge at SE Lund Avenue. A POPD release states his last phone activity was logged at around 1 a.m. Jan. 30, the same day he would be reported missing. A preliminary search was done by police using cadaver dogs.

Officials describe Briggs as white with brown hair and hazel eyes. He is 5-foot-7 inches tall, weighing 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a reflective vest, brown coat, blue jeans and tennis shoes with a black backpack.

Anyone who has seen him should call 911.
