The holidays will cause some changes to garbage pick-up schedules, recycling and garbage facilities, and household hazardous waste drop-off collection.

The Kitsap County Household Hazardous Waste Collection Facility will be closed from Monday, Dec. 23 to Thursday, Jan. 2, for maintenance.

The recycling and garbage facilities at Olalla will be closed Christmas and New Year’s Day. Additionally, all facilities normally open on Tuesdays will be closed at 2 p.m. on Dec. 24 and 31.

The Olympic View Transfer Station is closed  Dec. 25 or Jan. 1 and closes at 3 p.m. on Dec. 24 and 4 p.m. on Dec. 31.

Waste Management will not provide service on Dec. 25 or Jan. 1. Pick up will be one day later for the remainder of the week.
