POULSBO — Below is a list of schedule changes and closures expected across North Kitsap around Independence Day.
All closures are on Sunday, July 4 unless otherwise noted.
City, County and State offices:
•All Department of Licensing driver licensing offices will be closed July 3-5. The Poulsbo office will close at 3 p.m. July 2.
•Poulsbo City Hall and all city buildings will be closed July 3-5.
•Poulsbo Municipal Court will be closed July 3-5.
•The Poulsbo Parks and Recreation Center will be closed July 3-5.
•Poulsbo Police business office will be closed July 3-5. Officers will still be on duty and can be reached in an emergency by calling 911.
•Poulsbo Fire Department and North Kitsap Fire & Rescue headquarters business office will be closed July 3-5. Emergency crews will still be on duty and can be reached in an emergency by calling 911.
•All branches of the Kitsap Regional Library System will be closed.
•Port of Poulsbo business office will be closed July 3-5. Guest moorage and fuel service will be open.
•Port of Kingston business offices and services will be open.
Garbage and recycling:
•Kitsap County Moderate Waste Facility will be closed July 4-5.
•Drop boxes in Bainbridge Island, Hansville, Poulsbo, Silverdale and Olalla will be closed.
•Residential and commercial collection of garbage, recycling and debris inside Poulsbo city limits will remain on regular schedule.
Grocery stores:
•Central Market in Poulsbo will be open regular hours.
•Poulsbo Albertsons will be open regular hours.
•Kingston Albertsons will be open regular hours.
•Poulsbo Red Apple will be open regular hours.
•Kingston Thriftway will be open regular hours.
Health/Social Services
•Fishline Food Bank will be closed July 3-5.
Transportation:
•Kitsap Transit busses will be on Sunday service July 4-5.
•Seattle/Bainbridge and Edmonds/Kingston ferry routes will be on holiday schedule.
