In preparation for winter storms, the Washington State Department of Transportation will have maintenance crews conducting night training on the Hood Canal Bridge that will require intermittent closures of the bridge to vehicles.

On Thursday, Nov. 21 from 10 p.m. to 11:59 p.m., travelers may see intermittent closures of the State Route 104 Hood Canal Bridge to vehicle traffic that could extend up to 30-minutes.

The training prepares crews for specific bridge activities related to winter storms and is performed at night when traffic volumes are lighter.
