POULSBO — The holiday season is a window into the richness and beauty of Poulsbo’s diverse cultures, with Native American art, a Mexican-American celebration of faith, and a traditional Scandinavian celebration.

— 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 5: At the Poulsbo Sons of Norway Bazaar, peruse traditional crafts and gifts; enjoy some traditional holiday foods, such as pea soup and sour cream porridge (rømmegrøt); and experience dancing by Leikarringen, a children’s folk group, and singing by Vestre Sund Mannskor. — 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Dec. 5: At the Suquamish Museum Artists Fair & Tree Lighting, view fine beaded works, carvings, cedar and wool weavings and more for sale by local Native American artists. — 4:30 p.m. Dec. 5: At Jule Fest at Muriel Iverson Williams Waterfront Park, warm yourself with hot chocolate or hot cider as the Lucia Bride, escorted by Vikings, lights the yule log. — 4:30 p.m. Dec. 12: Our Lady of Guadalupe is a celebration of the appearance of the Virgin Mary to Juan Diego Cuauhtlatoatzin, a Nahuatl man, at Tepeyac, in what is now a suburb of Mexico City.

At St. Olaf Church, the celebration begins with a 4:30 p.m. Mass, followed at 5 p.m. by the Guadalupe Serenade and at 6 p.m. with Mass en Español. Past celebrations have included a procession and traditional dancing. Go to www.stolafschurch.org.
