Big things are expected for this coming year, but they are still a mystery to the people that are not on the planning committee.
Will there be a big announcement of a new electronic device? Will there be peace in the Middle East? Will there be a major breakthrough for a cancer cure? Will we learn the meaning of all the goings-on in Washington D.C.? The answer is still maybe, but we can still expect things to happen that will be of a great meaning to all of us. Are you wondering what this might be? I’ll tell you about some of it.
Is one of your questions about what exciting programs and activities will be offered to the people of Hansville and our surrounding areas? Well, of course, there will be the wine tasting and auction event, and there will be the other annual events like the Christmas Tour and the Garden Tour. And, of course, there will be meetings of the Ladies Aid, and the Garden Club, and the Need to Knit group, and the monthly Neighbors Luncheon.
And there will be the Line Dancing at the Driftwood Clubhouse, and the Fishing Club will still meet there, too. There will be many activities at the Little Boston Library (as usual).
Life will be pretty busy and much as you expected if you’ve lived in our area very long, but did you know about the “Should You Write Your Memoir” writing group? Or did you know about the Historical Society meetings that are open to the public, and the new Coon Bay Sailing Club?
Well, if you are interested in attending or want to know more, you can find out times and places for these events by looking at the Hansville Log, or online at Hansville.org, or by contacting me. I’ll give you the scoop.
If you are new to the Greater Hansville area, you might enjoy attending one or more of these activities, and if you’ve lived here for a while you already know how much fun we have just living here. (Do you think other people envy us? Maybe.)
