KINGSTON — Ferries are back on schedule on the Kingston/Edmonds route Wednesday morning following a mechanical failure on the Spokane.

Washington State Ferries canceled the 5:35 a.m. sailing from Kingston and the 6:20 a.m. sailing from Edmonds while the Spokane was repaired.

Boats were running late on the route until about 9:40 a.m.
