Kingston man charged with failing to register as sex offender

Thomas M. Cordero II, 28, of Kingston, is charged in Kitsap County Superior Court with failing to register as a sex offender.

KINGSTON — Thomas M. Cordero II, 28, of Kingston, is charged in Kitsap County Superior Court with failing to register as a sex offender.

According to the report, Cordero was convicted of sexual abuse of a minor in the Western District of Washington in February 2006, and is required to register as a sex offender.

Cordero was released from Kitsap County Jail on another offense April 6, and provided an address on Boston Lane in Kingston. On April 9, a Kitsap County Sheriff’s detective visited the residence and learned Cordero does not live at that address and not allowed on the Port Gamble S’Klallam reservation, according to the report.

Cordero was booked into Kitsap County Jail on $50,000 bail.
