Kingston’s Murdock places in Marshall University Chief Justice Forensics Tournament

Frank Murdock, a senior at Western Kentucky University, placed second in extemporaneous speaking, semifinalist in Lincoln-Douglas debate, fifth debate speaker, and sixth in impromptu speaking at the Marshall University Chief Justice Forensics Tournament.

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — Frank Murdock, a senior at Western Kentucky University, placed second in extemporaneous speaking, semifinalist in Lincoln-Douglas debate, fifth debate speaker, and sixth in impromptu speaking at the Marshall University Chief Justice Forensics Tournament.

Murdock and other members of the Western Kentucky University forensics team traveled to Omaha, Neb.; Huntington, W.Va.; and Rome, Ga., the weekend of Oct. 29-30 to take part in four tournaments.

At Marshall University in Huntington, W.Va., Western Kentucky was crowned with two sweepstakes championships: first in overall team sweepstakes and first in debate team sweepstakes.
