Confirmed cases of COVID-19 have risen to 161 in Kitsap County, according to a Tuesday afternoon update by the Kitsap Public Health District. Since last Friday, three confirmed cases have been added by KPHD.
A total of 5,484 residents have tested negative — of those tested, the positive test rate has dropped to about 3 percent.
Of the 161 cases, 50 have been reported in Bremerton, 39 in South Kitsap, 33 in North Kitsap, 28 in Central Kitsap and 11 on Bainbridge Island. Two deaths have been confirmed by Kitsap Public Health District as well.
The age breakdown for confirmed cases is as follows:
0 – 19: 7
20 – 29: 29
30 – 39: 20
40 – 49: 27
50 – 59: 40
60 – 69: 19
70 – 79: 13
80 and older: 6
