Kitsap County District Court report

The following cases have been filed in Kitsap County District Court:

— Felony violation of a court order/protection order: A 40-year-old Bremerton man was charged with multiple felony violations of a court-ordered protection order with a special violation for domestic violence for repeatedly approaching his former partner.

— Possession of a Controlled Substance (methamphetamine): a 24-year-old Bremerton man was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine. He was arrested on Aug. 25, 2016.

— Driving Under the Influence: A 43-year-old Kitsap man was charged with a criminal complaint on one county of driving under the influence, and a second count for driving a car not equipped, as per pre vious court order, with a working ignition interlock.

— Criminal Mistreatment: A 29-year-old Kitsap woman was charged with multiple of counts of criminal mistreatment in the fourth degree (child abuse), including a special domestic violence charge, for allegedly abusing her child.

— Possession with intent to distribute: A 24-year-old Bremerton man was arrested on Aug. 29 for felony possession of a controlled substance — in this case, heroin — with the intent to distribute.

— Violation of a Court Protection Order:  A 26-year-year-old Port Orchard man was arrested on August 29 and charged with failing to obey a court order directing him not to have contact with his former spouse.  A charge of special allegation of domestic violence accompanied the original charge.

— Violation of Protection Order: A 29-year-old Bremerton on June 1 was charged with a criminal complaint (gross misdemeanor) for violation of a foreign protective order and domestic violence.

— Driving Under the Influence: A 69-year-old Bremerton man was charged with a criminal complaint for driving while intoxicated. More than two hours after his arrest, he blew a .08 on the police department breathalyzer.

— Assault in the Fourth Degree: A 58-year-old Bremerton was charged with criminal domestic violence for beating up his partner.

— Assault in the Fourth Degree:  A 46-year-old Bremerton woman was also charged with assault for attacking a domestic partner and received a special charge of domestic violence.

— Driving Under the Influence: A 46-year-old Bremerton man was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated on August 29. When advised of his Miranda rights and asked if he understood those rights, the man said to the arresting officer, “I know my rights, motherf—ker”. He blew a .08.

— Attempting to elude police: A 24-year-old Bremerton man was charged in a floney complaint for attempting to elude police, leading the officer on a high-speed chase. He was eventually stopped and restrained.

— Violation of a Foreign Protection Order (Gross Demeanor) Plus Special Charge of Domestic Violence:  A 29-year-old woman was charged with gross demeanor violation of a foreign protective order, with a special charge of domestic violence tacked on.

— Second-degree Burglary: A 24-year-old Kingston man was charged with burglary for entering a private home on Aug. 26.
