PORT ORCHARD — A number of roadways in Kitsap County will be affected by maintenance, construction and repair work through March 22.

The affected county roads and streets, as reported by Kitsap County Public Works, are in the following areas:

South Kitsap

Crews will be performing maintenance work in the following areas:

• Weathers Court Southeast: Monday, March 18 – Tuesday, March 19
• Briarwood Drive Southeast at the intersection with Jackson Avenue Southeast: Wednesday, March 2
• Balasm Boulevard Southeast between Southeast Lund Avenue and Southeast Azalea Avenue: Wednesday, March 20
• Alaska Avenue East between Southeast Mile Hill Drive and East Van Buren Street: Thursday, March 21 and Friday, March 22

Expect moderate delays of up to 10 minutes in the vicinity of the work.

Central Kitsap

Crews will be performing maintenance work in the following areas:

• Northeast Riddell Road and between Bowwood Circle Northeast and May Street Northwest: Monday-Friday, March 18-22
• May Street Northwest between Northeast Riddell Road and Northwest Dyes View Court: Monday-Friday, March 18-22
• Seabeck Highway Northwest between Northwest Newberry Hill Road and Miami Beach Road Northwest: Monday-Friday, March 18-22

Expect moderate delays of up to 10 minutes in the vicinity of the work.

Expect moderate delays of 5-10 minutes on Ridgetop Boulevard Northwest (between SR 303 and Quail Run Drive) as work continues on a stormwater improvement project there. There may be intermittent lane closures and lane diversions for trucks entering or leaving the construction site. Use caution when traveling through the project.

Short delays are expected on Silverdale Way between Byron and Anderson Hill Road as a contractor completes work on the project there. Ceccanti Inc. continues construction on this project. Traffic may be limited to one lane in each direction during construction. This project continues through spring 2019.

North Kitsap

Crews will be performing maintenance work in the following areas:

• Northeast Carlin Court between Firwood Road Northeast and Northeast State Highway 104: Monday, March 18
• Urban Ave Northeast between Northeast Middle Street and Northeast Cherry Street: Monday, March 18
• Port Gamble Road Northeast between Southeast Stevens Uhler Road and Northeast Gratitude Private Way: Tuesday, March 19

Expect moderate delays of up to 10 minutes in the vicinity of the work

Washington Boulevard Northeast has a 10,000-pound weight limit in effect. Portions of the road surface are gravel.
