PORT ORCHARD — Detectives with the West Sound Narcotics Enforcement Team arrested 10 people on suspicion of narcotics violations April 3 while serving a search warrant in the 1000 block of SE Oak Road in Port Orchard.
Later that evening, deputies returned to the premises after responding to a 911 call. Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested a person for DUI/”physical control,” or being intoxicated while in a vehicle safely off the road. On a different incident at the residence, a second suspect was arrested for an outstanding felony arrest warrant after he ran from deputies. He was quickly caught and arrested.
Officers have responded 59 times to this residence in the last 12 months for a variety of alleged criminal activities, from armed robbery to numerous narcotics violations, according to the sheriff’s department’s Facebook page.
Deputies, detectives, and officers from the Special Investigative Unit and SWAT assisted in serving the narcotics warrant.
Suspects were arrested for various charges of possession of heroin with intent to deliver, possession of methamphetamine, possession of controlled substances (pills), unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of a firearm.
Those arrested ranged in age from 20-45 years.
Wilson said some of those arrested were released from jail and have returned to the residence.
