HANSVILLE — Noxious plants will be the topic of the next Flotsam and Jetsam Garden Club meeting, Nov. 14.

Guest Dana Coggin, coordinator of the Kitsap County Noxious Weed Control Program, will discuss “botanical bullies” and non-native noxious plants that may hide in garden beds.

Coggin will help guests learn how to recognize noxious plants and provide information on proper removal.

The club’s annual Christmas luncheon will be about one month later, Dec. 12. Cost: $15. Checks can be made payable to the club and mailed to P.O. Box 14, Hansville, WA 98340.
