Kitsap Humane Society is introducing a new event — Pints for Pets — a fundraiser for the community to come together and support its shelter pets.
The first Pints for Pets is on Dec. 15 from 5:30-7 p.m. at the Central Dock Restaurant inside the Port Orchard Public Market, 715 Bay St. in Port Orchard.
Central Dock is donating $1 from every beer and select menu items ordered to benefit the rescued animals and programs at KHS.
All ages are welcome. Dogs also are welcome at Pints for Pets, but make sure dogs are on a leash at all times.
KHS said it hopes to have more Pints for Pets events around Kitsap County and is looking for more community partners to help host.
