Local artist Amy Burnett scores TV show

Fourth generation Bremertonian, gallery owner, writer and curator Amy Burnett signed a new contract with Bremerton Kitsap Access Television to air a weekly half-hour program, “Amy’s City Re-runs”.

Fourth generation Bremertonian, gallery owner, writer and curator Amy Burnett signed a new contract with Bremerton Kitsap Access Television to air a weekly half-hour program, “Amy’s City Re-runs”.

Burnett has created and produced three television film series in the last10 years:  Art With Amy, Flashbacks and Amy’s City Review. Amy’s City Re-runs will air every Sunday at 6:30 p.m. on channel 12 or WAVE channel 3.

Burnett is the owner of the Amy Burnett Gallery in Bremerton, a writer for Westsound Home and Garden Magazine and is a curator of the Pyrex Museum. Burnett paints full time. Commenting on her television project, Burnett said, “The show is like a pot of soup. Each quickly covers a bevy of Bremerton subjects from street interviews, construction projects, live music, art openings and documentaries to historic comparisons.”
