Venita Ellick, Bainbridge Island author of “The Reluctant First Lady,” will be at Barnes & Noble in the Kitsap Mall Sept. 14 to sign copies of her book.

The storyline is based on the premise of a presidential candidate’s wife who is unwilling to give up her position as the director of a renowned museum in New York should he win the election. That makes for great conversation and debate. This is Ellick’s fourth novel.
