The girls will compete in the two of four divisions that will have young women ages 7 to 19 competing in modeling routines, which include casual wear and formal wear. Contestants also will display personality and interviewing skills while interviewing with this year’s judging panel.

Personality is the top aspect that each contestant is judged on during all phases of competition.

The winners will represent Tacoma/Seattle at the national competition in Orlando, Fla. More than $30,000 in prizes and awards will be presented and each winner will enjoy an expense paid trip of five nights and six days in Orlando.

Community businesses, organizations, and private individuals can become official sponsor. Through sponsorship, each contestant receives all the necessary training, rehearsals and financial support which will allow them to become a contestant in this year’s pageant.

Any business, organization, or private individual who may be interested in becoming a sponsor to the contestants can contact the Miss Pre-Teen Tacoma/Seattle pageant coordinator at 1-877-403-6678.
