On May 9 at our headquarters station, we’ll have certified car seat technicians on hand who can help ensure your children are riding in the car as securely as possible. Join us from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for our regular child car seat check that day, and on the second Saturday of every month.

So Much to Celebrate: We’ll be stopping by when Kingston’s Market on the Cove (aka the Farmers Market) opens for the season on May 2. Watch for us at the groundbreaking for the new community center at Kingston Village Green on May 3. Clearwater Casino and Resort plans to open its new hotel, restaurant and meeting rooms on May 15. And, if you like hamburgers, come see us at the Hansville Neighbors Luncheon at noon on May 20. Every year, our firefighters purchase and prepare burgers for our friends on the north end of the peninsula. If you decide to go, make sure you call 360-638-2871 by Sunday evening to reserve a meal.
