SHINE — Drivers traveling near the Hood Canal Bridge on State Route 104 should plan ahead for scheduled maintenance-related draw span openings this week. Washington State Department of Transportation maintenance crews also will remove a hazard tree adjacent to State Route 3.
Drivers can stay informed of SR 104 Hood Canal Bridge draw span openings by subscribing to WSDOT email alerts.
Schedule details are:
• Between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m., June 10, crews will open the Hood Canal Bridge draw span and motorists can expect delays up to 30 minutes.
• From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., June 11, motorists can expect delays of up to five minutes as they encounter one-way alternating traffic on SR 3 at milepost 58.8 near Northeast Evergreen Drive (south of the Hood Canal Bridge) for hazard tree removal.
• Between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m., June 12, crews will open the Hood Canal Bridge draw span and motorists can expect delays up to 30 minutes.
