BREMERTON — A Poulsbo man was arrested on the suspicion of voyeurism in Bremerton Aug. 29.
Matthew J. Borer, 26, is charged with voyeurism after allegedly looking up a woman’s skirt at a Safeway in East Bremerton Aug. 10.
The woman reported she was in the store shopping when a man tugged on her skirt. The woman said the suspect was kneeling and looking up her skirt. The suspect left after the woman yelled and asked what he was doing.
The woman called the Sheriff’s Office Aug. 20 after she looked on a sex offender registration website and saw the man “who had taken the pictures up her skirt,” according to the report. The man she identified was Borer.
The picture matched the store’s video surveillance of the suspect leaving store after the incident, according to the report. Borer was previously convicted of voyeurism and is a registered sex offender.
