A Bremerton man was arrested for lewd conduct March 24 after pulling down his pants to show his friends a new tattoo on his porch overlooking Washington Avenue.
Bremerton police officers on patrol saw three men standing on a porch in the 600 block of Washington avenue at 4:13 p.m., one of them with his pants down, according to police reports. There was heavy foot and vehicle traffic due to the ferry that had just docked and the rush hour for Puget Sound Naval Shipyard employees, the report noted.
One of the men, a 24-year-old Bremerton man, became aggressive when contacted by police and refused to step down from the porch. The man with his pants down, 25, said he was showing his friends a tattoo that went down his leg. The men resisted giving officers their names and the 24-year-old lied about his name and tried to walk away. The 24-year-old was arrested for making false statements to police and the 25-year-old was arrested for lewd conduct and obstruction of justice, asking, “Do you hate punks?” The men were taken to Kitsap County jail.
