BREMERTON — A one-vehicle rollover accident claimed the life of a South Kitsap man.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the wreck happened about 10:30 a.m. Sunday morning when the driver, Charles Bratcher, 71, apparently suffered a medical problem.
The man lost control of a silver 2006 Ford Freestyle near the intersection of Highway 3 and Highway 304.
He was pronounced dead after he was transported to Harrison Medical Center.
State Patrol reported the driver was traveling westbound on Highway 304 to Highway 3, when the car hit a bridge guard rail and continued onward to Highway 3. The car then hit an embankment and traveling airborne before it landed on the driver’s side of the SUV.
