Man dressed in women’s pantsuit robs Poulsbo KCU

POULSBO — Poulsbo Police are looking for a man believed to have robbed the Kitsap Credit Union on State Route 305 in Poulsbo at about 10:10 Monday morning. They also are searching for a woman who was believed to have driven the getaway car.

It is Poulsbo’s second bank robbery in two weeks.

According to press releases from Poulsbo Police and the Federal Bureau of Investigation, a white man in his mid-30’s — about 5 feet, 8 inches tall, and blue eyes — walked into the Poulsbo branch of the Kitsap Credit Union and presented a note to a teller, then fled with a small amount of cash.

He was dressed in a woman’s black pantsuit and was wearing a long, black wig.

A second suspect, a woman, was waiting outside in a vehicle believed to be a late-90s, blue Geo Metro hatchback.

A couple eyewitnesses both said they saw the man run out of the bank and toward Eighth Street, which runs parallel to State Route 305.
