A man found naked and injured in a Poulsbo hotel parking lot late Wednesday night has died, authorities report.

The man was discovered lying outside The Poulsbo Inn at 18680 State Highway 305 at 11:45 p.m. Wednesday, according to a joint statement from the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office and Poulsbo Police.

Within minutes of officers’ arrival, the man stopped breathing. Poulsbo Fire medics attempted to save the man’s life; he died at Harrison Medical Center this afternoon.

A determination as to the cause and manner of death will be made by the Kitsap County Coroner following an autopsy, the report states.
