Police have arrested a suspect in a robbery that occurred outside Chase Bank in Silverdale Jan. 25.
Officials say they received a 911 call just after 2 p.m. from a man who said he had just been robbed at gunpoint. The man had just obtained cash from an ATM at the Silverdale Way NW branch of Chase Bank when the suspect approached him asking for help. The suspect then pulled a gun, allegedly holding it to the victim’s head while demanding money.
The victim gave his money to the suspect, who got into a nearby car and drove off. Deputies later spotted a black Audi that was determined as stolen traveling on Highway 303 near Brownsville Highway. The driver was stopped by law enforcement and arrested at gunpoint.
The suspect was booked into the Kitsap County Jail and is awaiting charges.
