A Port Orchard man remains in serious condition in a Tacoma hospital after he was ejected out a back window of a one-car crash on State Highway 16, about five miles south of Port Orchard.
The accident happened about 5 a.m. Oct. 26.
Washington State Patrol reported the 20-year-old man was driving a 2001 Saab sedan and was headed northbound about 5 a.m. The car left the highway and traveled about 350 feet before it hit a culvert, then was airborne and flipped into the median for another 100 feet.
The man was not wearing a seat belt, WSP reported.
