The Central Kitsap Community Council will hear from administrators of Martha & Mary at its monthly meeting.
Martha & Mary has been part of the Kitsap Peninsula for more than 120 years. In that time, it has remained mission-driven and focused on providing an array of programs that serve the community.
The meeting is set for 7 p.m. July 17 in the community room at the Central Kitsap Fire District Office, 5300 N.W. Newberry Hill Road, Silverdale.
Starting as a children’s home in 1891, it now provides services for people from four weeks old through end of life.
Randy Hardin, administrator of Martha & Mary At Home, will give an overview of the history and current services provided by all entities under the Martha & Mary umbrella.
There will also be a presentation by Mary Earl of the Clear Creek Task Force on the opportunities, challenges and strategic plan for the Silverdale Trail.
