The Port of Poulsbo is being invaded this weekend — the Brethren of the Sound is bringing pirates, games, live music and maybe a little bit of mayhem.

Gary Peterson is the organizer of the Pacific Northwest Cruisers Rendezvous, which choses a different port every year to “invade.”

The Port of Poulsbo will host more than 75 boats Friday through Sunday. The cruisers will host live music and a raffle (proceeds go to nonprofit charities).

On Saturday, Seafair Pirates will host blindfolded dinghy races, pirate costume contests (for children and adults) and children’s piñata games.

The public is welcome to come down and participate in all Brethren activities.
