MANCHESTER — The Manchester Veterans’ Memorial Observance will take place at 3 p.m. on Memorial Day, May 28, at Veterans Memorial in Manchester.
The observance is presented by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2669 in Port Orchard, in cooperation with the Port of Manchester, the Friends of Manchester Library organization and Combat Veterans International’s Chapter 5 of Kitsap Peninsula.
The event is in memory of all armed forces members “who have the ultimate sacrifice on the field of honor,” according to the observance program.
Phil Paquette will give the welcome at the observance. Rashmi Ballard will sing the “National Anthem.” VFW Post 2669 will give the rifle salute and play “Taps.”
