BREMERTON — A motorcycle accident resulted in the driver being taken to Tacoma General Hospital June 21.
Timothy C. Thompson, 49, was traveling northbound on State Route 3. At around 2:29 p.m., his motorcycle left the roadway to the left and traveled through the median, which resulted in Thompson being ejected from the motorcycle, according to a press notice from Trooper Kiesha Conan with the Washington State Patrol.
Thomspon was wearing a USDOT-compliant helmet at the time. His Kymco venox 250 motorcycle was towed away from the accident scene by Silvercity Towing.
The cause of the accident is currently under investigation by the WSP. Charges are pending, depending on the result of the investigation.
