POULSBO — Natalie Seeley was crowned the 2018 Miss Viking Fest and Everlee Brenton was crowned Little Miss Viking Fest in the pageant on April 28 at the Clearwater Casino Event Center.
Brittany Walsworth, Kristen Crawford and Alexis Duncan were named Miss Viking Fest princesses. Danielle McKinsey, Harper Flowers and Sienna Parmalee were named Little Miss Viking Fest princesses.
As the Miss Viking Fest title winner, Seeley receives a $1,500 scholarship from the Viking Fest Corporation. Each Miss Viking Fest princess receives a $500 scholarship. The Viking Fest court serves for one year and represents Viking Fest at public events. Viking Fest takes place each May and celebrates the heritage of Poulsbo’s early Norwegian settlers who arrived beginning in the 1880s. Viking Fest coincides with Norway’s Constitution Day.
This year’s Viking Fest is May 18-20.
Seeley is a 16-year-old junior at Kingston High School. She is involved in Honor Society and yearbook and enjoys giving back to her community through volunteering. Natalie is sponsored by West Sound Plumbing, and friends and family. She is the daughter of Austin Seeley of Poulsbo and Mindee Seeley of Kingston.
