If you don’t have plans yet for Halloween, there’s still time. Here are some of the event taking place in our area:

The USS Turner Joy, a museum ship located on the Bremerton waterfront at 300 Washington Ave., has transformed from museum ship to haunted ship.

The haunted ship will welcome visitors through Nov. 1. Monday through Thursday hours are 6 p.m. – 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday hours are 6 p.m. – midnight. This event is not recommended for children under age 8. Donate a non-perishable item and receive a $1 off admission.

Manette Trick or Treat: Come Trick or Treat in the Manette Business District on Halloween from 4 to 6 p.m. Merchants will be dressed for the event and will be handing out treats … or tricks!

The 18th Annual Downtown Bremerton Association Safe Trick or Treat on Halloween will be from 5 to 8 p.m. There will be a Haunted Planetarium, Spooky lighted Jack-o-Lanterns, horse and carriage rides and Candy! Candy! Candy!

Visit Kitsap Mall on Halloween for a safe & warm trick or treating experience. Open for trick or treating from 5 to 8 p.m. Receive candy from retailers and get sneak peeks at upcoming holiday sales and events.

And don’t forget, under the moonlight, at 5:15 p.m. on Halloween, at the downtown Bremerton Library, 612 Fifth St., you may see a sight that almost stops your heart: a gang of zombies performing a ghoulish choreographed dance to the tune of Michael Jackson’s 1983 hit song, “Thriller.”
