Pickleball Kingdom, the world’s largest indoor pickleball entity, held its grand opening in Poulsbo the weekend of April 4-6, offering community members the chance to see the facility and play on the 12 indoor courts it provides.
The 31,500 square-foot facility, located at the former Office Max and Big 5 buildings at College Marketplace, offers 12 climate-controlled indoor courts, lounge areas and training programs, per a news release. The club will also feature professional coaching and clinics, catering to all skill levels, from beginners to seasoned players; youth programs; leagues and tournaments; and community and corporate events.
Poulsbo club owner and CEO John Hylton brings over two decades of experience in owning, developing and managing real estate projects throughout the region. Mara Hylton, head of operations, has nine years as a business owner in the tech industry, including human resources, marketing and business development.
