New pizza place to open at The Trails Sunday

MOD Pizza opening celebration will benefit the Paul Linder Educational Foundation

SILVERDALE – Seattle-based MOD Pizza will open a new location at The Trails shopping center in Silverdale with an 11:50 a.m. ribbon cutting ceremony March 20. The doors will officially open at noon.

The first 52 people in line will receive a free individual artisan-style pizza or hand-tossed salad and the chance to win free pizza for a year, according to a press statement from MOD Pizza.

All proceeds from the opening day will be donated to the Paul Linder Educational Foundation, which is dedicated to promoting excellence in education within Central Kitsap School District.

The restaurant is located at 11065 Pacific Crest Place NW, in Silverdale.

MOD Pizza was founded in 2008 by Scott and Ally Svenson.
