The northbound lane of Silverdale Way, just south of Home Depot, will be facing closures in the next couple of weeks.

Cascade Natural Gas is repairing a gas leak that will shut down the northbound lane and sidewalk, at times.

Intermittent closures can be expected through Monday, May 26, and 10-hour daily closures can be expected from May 27 to June 3.

Team Tu-Tu, a Destination Imagination team from Central Kitsap Junior High School, is competing in Knoxville, Tenn. at the DI Global Finals this week and weekend.

DI is a competition that combines improvised acting with educational aspects such as history, mechanics and more.
